What Is the Homeschool Alliance?
The Homeschool Alliance is the one-stop Internet community sandbox for home education. It’s about creating the homeschool life that takes all of you into account (your children, YOU, and even your spouse, if you have one). We’ll do it together, one month at a time, one subject or child at a time, making sure that you can see and measure your progress.

The Master Class in Learning
Each month we’ll deep-dive into a single topic to help you in your homeschooling journey. Featuring readings, videos, audio lectures and more, our Master Class in Learning explores topics such as motivation, planning, the power of play and theories of learning. You can also join in the conversation around each post, sharing your thoughts and learning from other members.
Community Coaching
The Community Coaching space is where Alliance members share their family experiences, post questions, and discuss readings and teachings. The coaches and members help each other solve problems, create new strategies for learning, and troubleshoot family dynamics. The heart of personal coaching happens here. This is the "discussion board" portion of the Alliance.
One Thing Challenges
In this portion of the Homeschool Alliance, members are challenged to include one non-traditional enrichment activity into their homeschools. Themes range from experiments with weather to backyard games to poetry to candle making! Each month's theme has three levels of challenge so you can do the "one star" level and feel pride of success if you don't have time for the more advanced challenges. At the end of the month, reward yourself with a badge!

Live Broadcasts
Each month, Alliance members meet with Julie and coaches for a conversation about the Master Class of Learning's topic.
Self-Care Spa
Homeschooling is demanding. Parents, in their selfless love of their children, sometimes forget to take good care of themselves. In the Homeschool Alliance, whether you join for a month or a year, you will be subscribed to 52 weekly emails designed to provide you with self-care practices to enhance your homeschool life.
Monthly Zoom Chats
Every month, the Homeschool Alliance community meets on a live broadcast to chat about the month's themes and topics. This space is where you find the schedule and particular links and phone numbers to access those live events.
We like to call this section: "Grad school for home school!"
Julie's Coaching Notebook
